Absolutely, Uganda is not only safe but is renowned as one of the friendliest countries globally. The people are incredibly helpful and always willing to assist. As with any destination, exercise caution, and be aware that, like everywhere else, there are both good and less savory individuals.

For a comprehensive exploration of the country's major highlights, a maximum of 2 weeks is recommended. If you have the luxury of time, extending your visit to 3 weeks allows for a more leisurely experience. However, if your focus is on gorillas, chimpanzees, and a national park, 8 days should suffice.

Yes, essential vaccinations include Yellow fever, Rabies, and Hepatitis B. Consult your medical doctor for any additional recommendations.

Walking in Kampala is generally safe. However, exercise caution in busy areas, as there are smart pickpockets. We advise keeping your belongings secure, such as holding backpacks in front, avoiding placing your wallet or phone in the back pocket, and refraining from talking on the phone while walking on the roadside. 

Absolutely! We offer family-friendly tours suitable for kids aged 5 and above. Bring the whole family along for an enriching experience.

Uganda primarily operates on a cash economy, and not all areas accept card payments. While some places in the city and most safari hotels do accept cards, it's advisable to carry cash in case of network issues preventing card payments.

 

Uganda doesn't have a widespread tipping culture. However, if you're pleased with the service, it's advisable to show appreciation through a 20% tip.
